It's been a long time!

Wow! I have not posted in forever. Many things have changed in our lives.

Well, in May of 2010 Kenny and I renewed our wedding vows in a lovely outdoor ceremony. It was small and beautiful and helped us create some wonderful memories. Also in May, our beloved Vera passed away of complications of FIV. It was a dark time for us, but we made it through.

In June, we adopted a sweet little kitty girl named Megan. She has fit into our family like she was here all along. We still miss Vera, but Megan has helped us to heal.

In August, we discovered that we are expecting our first (human) child. In November, we were able to find out that the baby is a girl. We have decided to name her Brynnley and she is expected to arrive April 12th, though Mommy is praying for the end of March!

Kenny is also no longer in the Coast Guard. He has job offers from several places and is trying to make the best choice for the family. Until the decision is made, he is working with his father.
